Party Stew

                    - 5 pounds venison cubed shopping list
 - 2 pounds potatoes cubed shopping list
 - 1 stalk celery bias cut shopping list
 - 2 pounds baby carrots shopping list
 - 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil shopping list
 - 1 cup flour shopping list
 - 1 tsp fresh ground black pepper shopping list
 - 2 tsp salt shopping list
 - 1 tsp fresh minced garlic shopping list
 - 2 litre blackberry merlot shopping list
 
How to make it 
                    - Take the car keys from all guests!
 - Coat venison in flour
 - Pour olive oil into stock pot cast iron is best
 - Saute garlic
 - Add flour coated venison and brown evenly
 - Add all vegetables
 - Sprinkle with salt and pepper
 - Stir well
 - Pour a glass of merlot for your guests and yourself
 - Pour the remaining merlot over venison mixture
 - Turn the heat to medium low and simmer
 - Check occasionally stirring to ensure even cooking
 - If additional liquid is needed add more merlot
 - A second bottle from the larder might be necessary.
 - 2 hours later the sweetest tenderest venison ever imagined will be ready for your table.
 - Serve with homemade herb rolls and naturally blackberry merlot.
