Bella Costas Veal Milanese

- 1 veal cutlet(about 5-6 ozs) shopping list
- flour for dredging shopping list
- 2 Tbs butter or margarine shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic,chopped shopping list
- 1/2 onion,chopped shopping list
- 1 green or red pepper,or combination,chopped shopping list
- 3 Tbs sherry shopping list
- 3-4 Tbs veal stock or chicken stock shopping list
- 3/4 c prepared marinara sauce shopping list
How to make it
- With meat mallet,pound the veal until flat. Dredge in the flour.
- Heat the butter in a saute pan. Saute veal over low heat on both sides until golden. Add the garlic,onion and peppers. Saute till vegetables are soft. Drain and discard any accumulated liquid.
- Add the sherry,stock and marinara sauce. Let simmer till reduced by about half.. Serve plain or with pasta.
