A quick and easy way to feed the gang the day after a big turkey dinner

Ingredients
  • Left over turkey
  • chopped celery / onion
  • chives
  • savory
  • black pepper
  • egg
  • mayonaise
  • kaiser buns
  • Lawrys seasoning salt
  • lettuce

Directions
  1. -- Fully debone the remaining turkey from carcass
  2. (make sure there is no polaris grease under your finger nails!!)
  3. -- chop up fairly fine with a meat cleaver and toss it in a mixing bowl,
  4. -- also finely chop up a couple of onions, celery and chives.
  5. -- throw in a pinch of fresh savory and black pepper.
  6. -- once all of this is in your bowl, moisten with mayonaise until it
  7. becomes a pasty consistancy, almost as if it were raw hamburg meat.
  8. (you may want to add an egg or two to prevent the patties from crumbling)
  9. -- form into patties on a greased cookie sheet then garnish with good
  10. old 'Lawrys' seasoning salt. (i also like kansas city 'cowtown' spices) Dang I love American
  11. products!!
  12. -- place under broiler and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  13. -- once complete, place them on the counter to cool, but dont shut that
  14. oven off quite yet!!!!
  15. -- grab another cookie sheet and place your fresh, cut in half kaiser buns
  16. on there, shove under broiler and toast to perfection.
  17. -- once done, slather some butter and mayo on those puppies and slap the patties
  18. on top, and for god's sake, dont forget the cold crisp iceburg lettuce.
  19. -- squeeze that sandwich together, poor a glass of cold suds, throw some corn chips
  20. on the plate and enjoy the finest left over meal you will ever taste!!
  21. -- and if your mouth is not watering profusely right now, then you are way too full already!!
