How to make it

  • -- Fully debone the remaining turkey from carcass
  • (make sure there is no polaris grease under your finger nails!!)
  • -- chop up fairly fine with a meat cleaver and toss it in a mixing bowl,
  • -- also finely chop up a couple of onions, celery and chives.
  • -- throw in a pinch of fresh savory and black pepper.
  • -- once all of this is in your bowl, moisten with mayonaise until it
  • becomes a pasty consistancy, almost as if it were raw hamburg meat.
  • (you may want to add an egg or two to prevent the patties from crumbling)
  • -- form into patties on a greased cookie sheet then garnish with good
  • old 'Lawrys' seasoning salt. (i also like kansas city 'cowtown' spices) Dang I love American
  • products!!
  • -- place under broiler and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  • -- once complete, place them on the counter to cool, but dont shut that
  • oven off quite yet!!!!
  • -- grab another cookie sheet and place your fresh, cut in half kaiser buns
  • on there, shove under broiler and toast to perfection.
  • -- once done, slather some butter and mayo on those puppies and slap the patties
  • on top, and for god's sake, dont forget the cold crisp iceburg lettuce.
  • -- squeeze that sandwich together, poor a glass of cold suds, throw some corn chips
  • on the plate and enjoy the finest left over meal you will ever taste!!
  • -- and if your mouth is not watering profusely right now, then you are way too full already!!
