How to make it

  • Place chicken wings on lightly greased cookie sheet
  • Bake at 365 for 20 minutes, turn wings over and continue baking for another 20 minutes
  • Mix together soya sauce, worsteshire sauce, oil, ginger, garlic, cayenne pepper, and hot sauce in small bowl, set aside
  • In a heavy bottomed sauce pan, dump the sugar, sprinkle the water around the sugar. there should be an undisturbed "pile" of sugar in the pan, do not stir
  • Heat sugar/water over medium heat, watch it carefully, when it turns the colour of caramel take it off the heat. you must watch, it colours quickly and will burn easily
  • Take caramelized sugar off the heat and mix in the soya mixture, it will sputter, so be careful
  • Toss sauce with hot cooked wings
  • Enjoy
