How to make it

  • CAKE
  • Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Add eggs and oil.
  • Beat until well blended.
  • Add vanilla, pineapple, bananas, and pecans.
  • Pour into 9 X 13 pan.
  • Bake at 350º oven for 25 minutes to 30 minutes.
  • Cool.
  • Frost with cream cheese frosting.
  • FROSTING
  • Beat cream cheese and butter until well blended.
  • Add vanilla and beat.
  • Add the sugar a little at a time until all is well blended.
  • Beat in pecans.
  • Frost cake when cool

    Shouldn't the bananas be mashed in the cake? Wouldn't there just be dark chunks and make the cake spoil quicker? I am wondering not disparging the recipe.
