Brandied Lemon Butter

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter shopping list
- 1 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon lemon rind shopping list
- 2 lemons (juice of 2 lemons) shopping list
- 3 ounces brandy (or rum) shopping list
How to make it
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Blend in the sugar, stirring constantly. Stir in the grated lemon rind. Add the lemon juice and brandy. Stir until smooth. Serve with French toast.
