Toasted Almond Muffin

- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose baking mix shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups (12 oz. can) evaporated milk shopping list
- 1 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 cup sliced almonds, divided shopping list
- 1 cup sifted powdered sugar shopping list
- 1-2 tbsp.(s) orange juice shopping list
How to make it
- Combine baking mix, evaporated milk, sugar, oil and egg in large mixer bowl
- Beat at high speed for 30 seconds until blended
- Fold in 3/4 cup almonds
- Spoon batter into 18 paper lined or greased muffin cups, filling each 2/3 full
- Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 15-18 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean
- Remove to wire racks to cool completely
- Combine powdered sugar and juice in small bowl
- Spread over each muffin; sprinkle with remaining almonds
