I looove caramel I even named my site after it lol but with all the recipes out there, it gets kind of confusing on how long you should take, what and what not to use, etc… Well last night I decided to come up with a quick simple recipe that anyone... More

Ingredients
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions
  1. Melt sugar in a saucepan or skillet til it gets to a syrupy consistency.
  2. In another saucepan mix remaining ingredients except vanilla
  3. and bring to a boil. Gradually begin adding the melted sugar.
  4. Boil for 3-4 minutes;
  5. remove from heat.
  6. add vanilla.
  7. Cool and stir until its of spreading consistency.
  8. This recipe will frost about 2 layers
  9. Tip: If your looking to only frost one layer then simply cut every in ingredient in half except vanilla =]
  10. 2c. sugar
  11. 2 tsp. flour
  12. 1 stick of butter
  13. 1/2c. milk
  14. 1tsp. vanilla
