Ingredients

1 orange: grind the rind & all (I use a food processor and remove any ugly parts before grinding)

1 cup butter creamed

2 cups sugar

1 cup sour milk (Sour milk by adding 1 teaspoon white vinegar and letting sit for 2 to 3 minutes)

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoons baking powder

6 cups flour

Icing:

1 orange: grind rind & all

1 tablespoon butter

1 lb. powdered sugar

Directions

Mix ingredients together and drop on cookie sheet and bake 400 degree oven for approx. 10 minutes. Cookie sheet does not have to be greased. Cookies are done when the bottom is slightly brown. When entirely cooled, cover with icing.

Icing:

Mix until smooth and add to cookies. The icing is slightly runny.
