Ingredients
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 pound asparagus
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Roasted garlic oil to taste
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts lightly toasted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Cook pasta according to package(keep warm)
  2. Steam asparagus and cut into 2 inch pieces, discarding the woody ends
  3. Combine asparagus with the pasta
  4. Add lemon juice,zest and garlic oil to taste
  5. Toss
  6. Add cheese, pine nuts and salt and pepper
