West Spaghetti Casserole Recipe
WEST SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Luckey Estate in Haltom City, Texas in 1991.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 pound spaghetti cooked
  • 1 large white onion
  • 1 large green bell pepper
  • 1 cup stuffed olives
  • 14-1/2 ounce can peeled sliced tomatoes with juice
  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms sliced
  • 1/2 pound sharp cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream

Directions
  1. In food processor grind onion, pepper and olives separately then mix with cooked spaghetti.
  2. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, whipping cream, salt and pepper.
  3. Turn into buttered casserole then sprinkle with cheese and bread crumbs.
  4. Dot with butter and bake covered at 350 for 1 hour then uncover and cook 30 minutes longer.
