Ingredients

!/4 cup butter

½ teaspoon vanilla

1 ½ cups of flour

1/2 cup milk

1 cup sugar

2 egg whites

2 level teaspoons baking powder

Cream the butter, gradually add sugar and vanilla. Beat the egg whites to a stiff froth and add to mix. If you should happen to bust a yolk in it, just use it anyway it will just be yellow snow cake. :P

Mix and sift the flour and baking powder adding to the mix alternately with the milk.

Bake in a moderate 350 degree oven 45 minutes. Cover with a boiled frosting.

Can be baked in cupcakes, filling with a chocolate filling.
