This is a recommended frosting to smooth onto a snow cake or snow cupcakes if they last long enough to get covered

Ingredients
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup shredded coconut

Directions
  1. Combine butter, brown sugar and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from range add coconut. Put over warm cake, spread evenly.
  3. Place cake on rack near bottom. Turn oven to broil position and broil slowly until golden brown. This requires two or three minutes.
