How to make it

  • Combine butter, brown sugar and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil.
  • Remove from range add coconut. Put over warm cake, spread evenly.
  • Place cake on rack near bottom. Turn oven to broil position and broil slowly until golden brown. This requires two or three minutes.
