Tomato Topped Beef Cutlets Recipe
TOMATO TOPPED BEEF CUTLETS This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Clowers Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1989.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cube steaks pounded thin
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 can cola
  • 1 medium white onion cut in rings
  • 1 medium green bell pepper cut in rings

Directions
  1. Salt, pepper and flour beef.
  2. Put oil, steaks, onion, bell pepper, tomatoes and cola in skillet in this order.
  3. Cover and cook 45 minutes over low heat.
