  • 1 c roast turkey, cubed
  • 1 stalk celery, minced
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and quartered
  • 4 dates, chopped
  • 1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds

  • The Sauce

  • I always make the sauce separate so to control the amount that goes in the salad. Some like more, some like less.
  • .
  • 1/2 cup plain fat-free yogurt
  • 2 tbsp reduced calorie mayonaise
  • 1 tsp country dijion mustard
  • 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tbsp dried tarragon
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Toss the turkey, celery, cherries, dates and almonds in a medium bowl until well mixed.
  2. In a separate bowl prepare the sauce by mixing well the yogurt, mayo, mustard, relish, tarragon, salt and pepper.
  3. Add the sauce a tablespoon at a time until covered to your liking.
  4. Refridgerate for at least 30 minutes. Server on wheat toast or spring greens as you like.
