Venison Wonton Ravioli

- 2 lb venison burger shopping list
- 2 teaspoons oil shopping list
- 2 eggs (beaten) shopping list
- 1/2 cup parmesean cheese shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- 1/4 cup minced onion shopping list
- 1-2 cloves minced garlic shopping list
- 1 package of 60 Wonton Wrapers shopping list
- 1cup water for dipping fingers in shopping list
- canola oil for frying shopping list
How to make it
- In skillet, heat oil and sautee the onion and garlic
- Add the venison burger and brown
- (Drain any excess fat that remains)
- Remove 1 cup meat mixture and add the parmesean cheese
- and salt, pepper, garlic powder
- Add eggs a little at a time to the cheese/burger mix to temper
- then add it all back into skillet and mix well
- Heat through and remove from stove
- have one cup of water in a bowl to dip fingers in
- lay out wrapers a couple at a time or whatever seems easiest
- dip fingers in water and rub the wraper all over getting every edge
- Spoon about a teaspoon of meat mixture into the middle of a wraper
- Fold in half
- Push down all around the meat to seal it and set aside
- When you have all your wontons made
- Heat canola oil in heavy pot
- gently drop a few at a time into oil and cook till golden
- remove to paper towels to get excess oil
- Serve with favorite marinara to dip in or pour speghetti sauce over them and add parmesean cheese. Use any sauce your family likes.
- I make 30 at a time and freeze thirty uncooked for later use.
