How to make it

  • In skillet, heat oil and sautee the onion and garlic

  • (Drain any excess fat that remains)

  • and salt, pepper, garlic powder
  • Add eggs a little at a time to the cheese/burger mix to temper
  • then add it all back into skillet and mix well
  • Heat through and remove from stove
  • have one cup of water in a bowl to dip fingers in
  • lay out wrapers a couple at a time or whatever seems easiest
  • dip fingers in water and rub the wraper all over getting every edge
  • Spoon about a teaspoon of meat mixture into the middle of a wraper
  • Fold in half
  • Push down all around the meat to seal it and set aside
  • When you have all your wontons made
  • Heat canola oil in heavy pot
  • gently drop a few at a time into oil and cook till golden
  • remove to paper towels to get excess oil
  • Serve with favorite marinara to dip in or pour speghetti sauce over them and add parmesean cheese. Use any sauce your family likes.
  • I make 30 at a time and freeze thirty uncooked for later use.
