How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 425
  • Mix eggs, milk, flour, salt in a blender. Melt in a cast iron frying pan over medium heat 1 tbsp. of butter. When it is sizzling in the pan, pour the batter in and put immediately into oven.
  • Meanwhile, peel the apples, core and slice each apple into slices. (I usually get 12 slices per apple) Over medium low heat, melt the remaining 2 tblsp. of butter. To that, add the brown sugar, and the spices. Add the apples and gently saute them stirring once in a while until they are softened. Remove from heat and once the pancake is out of the oven, serve immediately.
