FRESH CHERRY SAUCE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Anderson Estate in Wylie, Texas in 1991.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh pitted cherries
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Directions
  1. Cook cherries in water for 10 minutes then mix together sugar and cornstarch.
  2. Add to cherries then cook cherry mixture until thickened.
