How to make it

  • Grease and flour a jellyroll pan.
  • Stir together flour, dry milk, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • In large mixing bowl cream margarine and sugar then add corn syrup, water and egg.
  • Gradually and thoroughly beat in flour mixture then stir in raisins.
  • Pour into prepared pan and spread to edges and bake in preheated 375 oven 25 minutes.
  • Cool in pan on rack then cut into bars then store in tightly covered tin can.
