- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 2 pounds round steak cut in serving size pieces shopping list
- 28 ounce can diced tomatoes shopping list
- 1 large onion sliced shopping list
- 1 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 2 cans peas drained shopping list
How to make it
- Make a mixture of flour, salt, pepper and garlic then dip pieces of round steak in flour mixture.
- Pound floured steak pieces with a meat mallet then brown round steak in oil.
- Add sliced onion and sauté' then put steak back in skillet along with onion.
- Add chopped tomatoes with liquid then season with pepper and garlic powder.
- Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours and when done add drained peas.
