Honey Glazed Carrots

A yummy side dish. It goes good with pork dishes.
Ingredients
- 1 lb carrotts cut on bias shopping list
- half of a red onion diced shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1 teaspoon thyme shopping list
- 1 cup chicken broth or intil carrots are just covered shopping list
- 1 teaspoon butter shopping list
- 1 teaspoon honey shopping list
- saly and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- melt butter, add onion and salt and pepper cook on med heat
- when onions are translucent add garlic
- add carrots, thyme, honey and chicken broth
- simmer until broth is reduced away and carrots are fork tender
- serve immedately

Everyone loved it! I subbed maple syrup for honey, and used about a Tablespoon instead of a teaspoon. I think that amount works better. The flavours are great! :)
