Ingredients
  • 12 Bread slices (edges removed)
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp Vimto drink (juice)
  • ½ tsp butter
  • Cream layers:
  • 3 cups corn flour
  • 3 cups liquid milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 10 tbsp Vimto
  • 2 eggs yolk
  • 1 tsp butter
  • ½ cup walnut
  • 1 envelope dream whip

Directions
  1. Roast the bread a little bit then put 6 slices in a casserole. Mix the (½ cup milk, 2 tbsp Vimto, ½ tsp butter) put them in the microwave for 20 seconds to prepare the syrup. Add half of the quantity to the bread, sprinkle half of the walnut, then mix corn flour, milk, sugar, Vimto, egg yolk and butter then put them on the fire and keep stirring until it becomes thick, put half of the mixture on the casserole, then put another layer of bread then add the other half of the syrup and sprinkle the walnut then put the other half of the mixture, add the dream whip as you like and sprinkle a little bit walnut, then keep it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Thanks momo 55qrandma for the comment, about the vimto, you can use chocolate or any juice syrup.


Bread puddings are a weakness of mine,and this pudding recipe would be a wonderful treat,if only I could purchase the vimto locally.
