How to make it

  • In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until it just begins to brown, but is still soft. Place it aside until it becomes cooled enough to touch.
  • Preheat your broiler and season the steaks with the black pepper. Wrap one piece of bacon around a cube of fish, secure with a toothpick, and repeat. Put the cubes on a baking sheet.
  • Broil for around 5 minutes, turning only one, (fish should be cooked through and the bacon crisp). Place on a platter, and serve warm.

    In Alaska, We call these PIG Butts!! and we cook em on a fire pit while consuming large amounts of beer!
