How to make it

  • mix all ingredients besides water and brussle sprouts in crockpot
  • add enough water to cover ham hock
  • let cook on low for 4 hrs on high
  • 45 minutes befor serving remove ham hock and add brussle sprouts
  • you could cook this on the stove if you wanted in about fourty five minutes

    Your soup sounds delish but I need a little explanation - how much sour cream - tubs come from 1 cup to 4 cups?? Other than that - welcome to Group Recipes - it is a fun place and lots of wonderful cooks and recipes. I see we are both from Washington - makes us almost neighbors!
