How to make it

  • Lay salmon on a large greased sheet of foil set on a baking sheet.
  • Mix butter with mace and salt then spread on inside cavity and over the skin.
  • Sprinkle with cloves then wrap foil up loosely but sealing well then bake 45 minutes at 350.
  • Allow standing 5 minutes before dishing into larger platter with fish juices poured over top.
  • Garnish with prunes, currants, lemon wedges and fresh dill.
