- 3 pound fresh salmon gutted and cleaned shopping list
- 6 tablespoons softened unsalted butter shopping list
- 2 teaspoons ground mace shopping list
- 12 whole cloves shopping list
- 1-teaspoon kosher salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 cup whole cooked prunes shopping list
- 3 tablespoons currants shopping list
- 2 lemons wedged shopping list
- Fresh dill leaves shopping list
How to make it
- Lay salmon on a large greased sheet of foil set on a baking sheet.
- Mix butter with mace and salt then spread on inside cavity and over the skin.
- Sprinkle with cloves then wrap foil up loosely but sealing well then bake 45 minutes at 350.
- Allow standing 5 minutes before dishing into larger platter with fish juices poured over top.
- Garnish with prunes, currants, lemon wedges and fresh dill.
