Praline Lace Cookies Recipe
PRALINE LACE COOKIES This recipe is one of many obtained from cookie exchanges I have held for the past eighteen years. This one is from my friend Marie Davies.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 5 tablespoons ground almonds
  • 2 tablespoons triple sec liqueur

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 then grease two cookie sheets.
  2. Place brown sugar, corn syrup and unsalted butter in medium saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Stirring constantly bring to a boil then immediately remove from heat.
  4. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  5. Drop by 1/2 teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets leaving at least 2” around each cookie.
  6. Bake for 6 minutes then remove carefully from pan with spatula.
