UNIQUE CLUB SANDWICH This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the McLean Estate in Irving, Texas in 1982.

Ingredients
  • 12 slices bread toasted
  • 6 teaspoons mayonnaise
  • 2 slices natural sharp cheddar cheese cut in half
  • 1 package deli thin chicken breast
  • Lettuce
  • 2 slices natural Swiss cheese cut in half
  • 8 slices tomato
  • 12 slices bacon cooked crisp

Directions
  1. For each sandwich spread 3 toast slices with dressing.
  2. Cover 1 toast slice with cheddar cheese, chicken, lettuce and second toast slice.
  3. Top with Swiss cheese, tomato, bacon and third toast slice.
  4. Cut into quarters and secure with toothpicks.
