Ingredients
  • 1 packet (225g) digestive biscuits
  • 110g butter - melted
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 5 ripe bananas
  • 500ml double (whipping) cream
  • 1 Cadbury's flake for decoration

Directions
  1. For the base
  2. Put biscuits in food processor and pulse until you have fine crumbs
  3. Combine melted butter
  4. Place the mixture into your chosen pan and press firmly - chill for at least 30 minutes
  5. For Toffee Layer
  6. Empty can of condensed milk into saucepan and heat over a low heat - stirring constantly
  7. When milk starts to bubble, add sugar and butter and keep stirring until the mixture thickens and comes away from the sides of the pan
  8. Pour mixture (as evenly as you can) onto the biscuit base and chill for a further 30 minutes
  9. For topping
  10. Slice the bananas and arrange them on top of the (now cool and solid) toffee layer
  11. Whip cream until it holds firm peaks and spread over bananas
  12. Crumble Flake (or similar) over top of pie
  13. Chill until ready to serve - make sure you get the first piece, or you might miss out!
