Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix ground beef, onion, rice and egg until well blended. Form into 1/2 to 1 inch meatballs. Brown slightly in a skillet being careful when turning as to not break up the meatballs. Drain.
  • Place meatballs in a dutch oven. Top with chopped cabbage.
  • Mix Campbell's tomato soup and water. Pour over cabbage. Add salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil on medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook without stirring for 30 minutes.
  • Stir and cook for 30 more minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed into the cabbage. You may add more water if needed.
  • Let set for 15 to 30 minutes to thicken and for the cabbage to sop up the tomato soup.
