Dark Fudge Brownie Cake

- 1/2 cup dark corn syrup shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 5 ounces semisweet baking chocolate shopping list
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1 cup chopped walnuts shopping list
- chocolate Glaze: shopping list
- 3 ounces semisweet baking chocolate shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons dark corn syrup shopping list
- 1 teaspoon milk shopping list
How to make it
- Grease and flour one 9-inch layer cake pan. In a large saucepan over medium heat bring corn syrup and butter to a boil. Stir occasionally and remove from heat after boil is achieved. Add chocolate then stir until melted. Add sugar then stir in eggs one at a time then vanilla, flour and nuts. Pour into prepared pan. Bake in 350 for 30 minutes then cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and allow to cool completely. Drizzle glaze over top. To make glaze in a small saucepan over low heat chocolate and butter stirring often. Remove from heat then stir in corn syrup and milk until smooth. Pour over top of brownie cake and spread over sides. Let stand one hour before serving.
