Fish In Mango Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

2 Raw mangoes

4 skillets of fish 1and 1/2 inch thick (try to find sweet water fish)

1 tsp mustard seeds

mustard oil to fry the fish

sugar to taste

salt to taste

2 dry red chillies

1/2 tsp of turmeric powder

Directions

deseed and cut the mangoes in small pieces.

for the fish

marinate the fish with turmeric powder, salt to taste

Leave it for 5 minutes room temperature

Heat a deep frying pan

Pour the mustard oil

fry the fish

In another deep dish

add two tbsp of refined oil

Put the dry red chilly

Add the mustard seeds

Let the seeds splatter in the oil

add the raw mango pieces

add sugar

add salt to taste

now add 1/2 litre of water

boil the mangoes till it softens

Now add the fried fish

Let the fish simmer in the sauce for 10 minutes

add salt or sugar to suit your taste.

Serve room temperature with steamed rice
