Fish in Mango sauce

- 2 Raw mangoes shopping list
- 4 skillets of fish 1and 1/2 inch thick (try to find sweet water fish) shopping list
- 1 tsp mustard seeds shopping list
- mustard oil to fry the fish shopping list
- sugar to taste shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 2 dry red chillies shopping list
- 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder shopping list
How to make it
- deseed and cut the mangoes in small pieces.
- for the fish
- marinate the fish with turmeric powder, salt to taste
- Leave it for 5 minutes room temperature
- Heat a deep frying pan
- Pour the mustard oil
- fry the fish
- In another deep dish
- add two tbsp of refined oil
- Put the dry red chilly
- Add the mustard seeds
- Let the seeds splatter in the oil
- add the raw mango pieces
- add sugar
- add salt to taste
- now add 1/2 litre of water
- boil the mangoes till it softens
- Now add the fried fish
- Let the fish simmer in the sauce for 10 minutes
- add salt or sugar to suit your taste.
- Serve room temperature with steamed rice
