- Makes two 8 inch layers of one 9x12 in cake 12 servings shopping list
- 2 cups cake flour, un-sifted shopping list
- Or shopping list
- 1 ¾ cups All purpose flour, un- sifted shopping list
- 11/4 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon baking powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- ½ softened butter shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- ½ teaspoon coconut flavoring shopping list
- ½ teaspoon lemon flavoring shopping list
- ¾ cup milk shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 f.
- Grease and flour two 8 inch layer pans or a 9x12 cake pan
- Mix dry ingredients thoroughly. Blend in fat, eggs, flavorings, and one half of the milk: beat 2 minutes at medium speed with mixer.
- Add remaining milk beat 2 minutes longer in mixer. Pour batters into pans.
