Honey Spiced Lamb Recipe
A mild Indian ground lamb dish, with onions and tomatoes, and a hint of honey. A modified version of a recipe I found online.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb of ground lamb
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ginger, pressed
  • 1 clove of garlic, pressed
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt

Directions
  1. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat
  2. Add the lamb and fry until brown
  3. If desired, drain oil from the pan
  4. Add chopped onion and continue to fry until translucent
  5. Add crushed tomatoes and lower pan to simmer
  6. Stir in garam masala, turmeric, ginger, garlic, and chili powder
  7. Simmer until spices have blended well
  8. Remove from heat and stir in honey
  9. Serve with Greek yogurt on the side
