German Potato  And Leek Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 kg Potatoes
  • Salt, pepper
  • 4 Tbs grated cheese, more if desired
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 40 g Flour
  • 30 g Butter
  • 200 g Leeks
  • 400 g smoked pork loin cubed ( or other smoked meat )
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • chopped Parsley as desired

Directions
  1. Wash potatoes and cook about 15 minutes.
  2. Fine chop garlic, cut washed leeks in rings, cut meat into cubes
  3. Drain potatoes .
  4. Cool and peel and thick slice or cut up
  5. Meanwhile make a sauce by heating butter, adding flour, thinnning with cream.
  6. Add the leeks, garlic, cheese and parsley to the sauce
  7. Place potatoes in a caserole dish, cover with the cheese and vegetable sauce mixture.
  8. Bake 200C about 15 to 20 minutes
