- 2 cakes fresh yeast shopping list
- 1 Tbs sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp z salt shopping list
- 1 kg flour shopping list
- 750 ml lukewarm water shopping list
- Variations: olives, sun dried tomatoes, rosemary shopping list
- Or: dried cranberries and more sugar in the recipe to make it sweeter shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl, combine sugar and salt along with the crumbled yeast and warm water.
- Mix in flour and let stand 30 minutes in a warm place.
- It will rise very puffy in the bowl
- Stir the dough down and then form dough either as round loaves or one large rectangle on a baking sheet.
- Let rise another 30 minutes.
- Then bake 230C for 30 to 40 minutes
- To make variations: Just before baking, stir in the desired additions.
