Well... like the name says beef in a bowl :P the round things in the bowl is an omelet!

Ingredients
  • Steamed Japanese rice
  • 350g of beef choped in bite size
  • 3 ts of soy sauce
  • 120ml of white wine or sake
  • 15g of sugar
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 ts of butter
  • 220ml of water
  • 2 ts of mirin
  • 25 ml of ginger juice

Directions
  1. Cut the onion and the garlic in round thin pieces
  2. In a frying pan add the butter and let it melt.
  3. Add the onion and let it fry for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the wine and let it cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the water, the soy sauce, the ginger juice and the sugar and stir it for 1 minute.
  6. Add the beef and let it cook for 6 minutes with a lid on!

Looks easy and tasty. Is the ginger juice purchased (at a health food store or something?) or must I make my own? And is the omelet just egg and salt/pepper or is there some other addition? Thanks for the recipe!


Well.. the juice i made from grated ginger! and the omelet i used.. 2 eggs a pinch of salt and pepper, a ts of soy sauce and 7g of sugar.
