New Potatoes With Olive Oil and Garlic

- 12 small new potatoes shopping list
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1 large clove garlic minced shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Peel off 1/2" strip of skin around center of each potato.
- Place potatoes in a steamer set over simmering water.
- Cover and steam until tender about 20 minutes then drain and reserve.
- Heat oil and garlic in a nonstick skillet large enough to hold the potatoes in one layer.
- Cook over medium heat until garlic is fragrant about 2 minutes.
- Add potatoes and roll them in the oil mixture then season with salt and pepper.
