Apple Caramel Sundae Tart Recipe
What could be better than a beautiful dessert that tastes like caramel apples? A ready-made crust and apple pie filling make it a cinch.

Ingredients
  • 35 Caramels, unwrapped
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 Graham Pie Crust
  • 1/4 cup Pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (3.4 ounce) package JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
  • 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling

Directions
  1. Place caramels and 3 Tbsp. milk in medium microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 1 min. or until caramels are melted; stir until smooth.
  2. Reserve 1/3 cup caramel mixture in small microwaveable bowl; cover and refrigerate.
  3. Pour remaining caramel mixture into pie crust; top with pecans. Pour 1 cup milk into large bowl. Add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 min.
  4. Gently stir in whipped topping. Spoon into crust.
  5. Freeze 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Spoon pie filling over pudding mixture.
  7. Microwave reserved 1/3 cup caramel mixture on HIGH 30 sec. or until caramel is smooth.
  8. Drizzle over pie filling.
  9. Let stand at room temperature 15 min. before serving.
  10. Serve immediately.
  11. Store leftover dessert in freezer.
