Tzatziki Cucumber Sauce

- 2 cups plain Greek/Turkish yogurt (or strained regular yogurt) shopping list
- 2 cucumbers, peeled, seeded & diced shopping list
- 1/2 medium onion, diced fine shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed shopping list
- 1 tblsp chopped dill shopping list
- 2 tblsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Drain the onion and cucumber by placing them in colander resting over a bowl. Sprinkle with salt and place a weight on them to speed draining.
- Let them drain for 2-3 hours.
- Once drained, add mix - along with garlic, dill and pepper - to yogurt and mix well.
- Let it rest in the fridge overnight for best results.
- Serve cold.
