- 4 Cups uncooked macaroni noodles shopping list
- 8 oz butter shopping list
- 8 oz flour shopping list
- 1 onion (halved) shopping list
- 1 Gal milk shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
- 1 whole clove shopping list
- salt, white pepper and nutmeg to taste. shopping list
- 8 tomatoes. Quartered shopping list
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic shopping list
- 4 T oil shopping list
- S&P to taste shopping list
- Andouille sausage shopping list
- Fresh Grated Parmasean shopping list
- Fresh Grated Gouda shopping list
How to make it
- Add the flour slowly to the clarified butter on medium heat Making a white roux.
- In a separate pan scald milk and add it to the roux slowly beating constantly.
- Bring the sauce to a boil then turn down to a simmer.
- Stick the bay leaf to the flat side of the onion and poke the whole clove through the bay leaf. Add to the sauce.
- Simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Season with S&P and nutmeg.
- Set aside
- Roast the Tomatoes:
- Place foil on a cookie sheet.
- Oil the tomatoes.
- Season with S&P and minced Garlic.
- Roast for about an 1 1/2 hours at 350.
- Set aside.
- Ground and saute the sausage until browned.
- Add all ingredients and enjoy!!!!!!!
