this is kind of a throw together easy recipe.

Ingredients
  • 3 lbs. chicken pieces
  • 1 package Italian salad dressing mix
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter, divided
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Directions
  1. Place chicken pieces in crockpot and sprinkle Italian salad dressing
  2. mix over the chicken. Drizzle 2 Tbsp. melted butter over chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 6 hours. Melt 2 Tbsp. butter in a saucepan and saute
  4. onion and garlic. Add the cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and
  5. chicken broth. Stir until smooth. Add this mixture to the crockpot
  6. and cook on low for an additional 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
