How to make it

  • Saute onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic in butter.
  • Combine tomatoes, okra (if using), broth, and water.
  • Add to vegetables in step 1 and bring to a boil.
  • Add rice, tuna, salt and pepper to boiling liquid.
  • Cover and simmer until rice is cooked (about 15-20 minutes).
