This is perfect to serve for breakfast or a brunch.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds breakfast sausage links
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large tart apples, peeled and sliced in wedges
  • 1 large sweet onion, peeled and sliced

Directions
  1. In large skillet, cook sausage links until almost done.
  2. Remove sausages and set aside.
  3. Drain skillet.
  4. Add remaining ingredients to skillet. Cook, covered, until apples and onion are tender, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Return sausage links to skillet.
  6. Cook 10 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.
