How to make it

  • Saute shallots and red bell pepper in 1 tbspn evoo about 4 minutes add spinach until wilted about 2 minutes. let cool
  • in bowl whisk 8 eggs add 1 cup half and half and pinch fresh nutmeg sea salt and pepper
  • in pie dish layer puff pastry in buttered dish fine if it hangs over
  • on top of shell pour in artichokes then add shallots and red bell pepper pour egg mixture over it and sprinkle all over top with gruyere shredded cheese
  • bake in preheated oven 350,bake until light golden brown around 50-55 minutes
