Double Pear Crisp

- 6 ounces dried pears shopping list
- 1 cup bottled pear juice shopping list
- 4 or 5 fresh pears, chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar shopping list
- 2 cups rolled oats shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- whipped cream shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- . Chop dried pears into 1/2-inch pieces to make 1 cup. Bring pear juice and dried pear pieces to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until tender.
- Core and chop fresh pears into bite-sized pieces and place in an 8-inch square baking dish.
- Melt butter; remove from heat and add brown sugar, oats, and spices, then mix.
- Pour dried pear mixture over fresh pears and top with oat mixture. Bake for 45 minutes.
- Serve with cream
