Bear Brats With Eggs And Hash Browns Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 Large Idaho baker style potatoes peeled and shredded
  • 1 dozen high quality bratwurst (or you choice)
  • 1 dozen fresh AA large eggs
  • 6 cans Guinness Stout
  • Vegatable oil (for frying)

Directions
  1. Gently boil brats in beer for 20 minutes
  2. while sausages boil, prepare hash-browns by peeling and grading potatoes working quickly so the brats wont over cook.
  3. place hash browns and vegetable oil in cast iron skillet over high heat, turning once for uniform crispness.
  4. once cooked to preference, hold hash browns in a sheet pan in oven on low heat.
  5. remove broiled brats from beer keeping beer warm on back of stove
  6. place brats in skillet drizzle with vegetable oil and fry on medium heat for 10 minutes. transfer brats back to the warm beer
  7. fry eggs in a teflon pan, four at a time. 2 minutes on one side and 1 minute on the other
  8. Place two eggs, two bratwurst and a portion of hash browns on each plate and serve
  9. ENJOY
