How to make it

  • Gently boil brats in beer for 20 minutes
  • while sausages boil, prepare hash-browns by peeling and grading potatoes working quickly so the brats wont over cook.
  • place hash browns and vegetable oil in cast iron skillet over high heat, turning once for uniform crispness.
  • once cooked to preference, hold hash browns in a sheet pan in oven on low heat.
  • remove broiled brats from beer keeping beer warm on back of stove
  • place brats in skillet drizzle with vegetable oil and fry on medium heat for 10 minutes. transfer brats back to the warm beer
  • fry eggs in a teflon pan, four at a time. 2 minutes on one side and 1 minute on the other
  • Place two eggs, two bratwurst and a portion of hash browns on each plate and serve
  • ENJOY
