Creamy Mushroom Gravy

- set 1: shopping list
- 400gms of button mushroom shopping list
- 2tbsp of butter shopping list
- 1tsp ginger garlic paste shopping list
- 1 tsp pepper shopping list
- salt shopping list
- set 2: shopping list
- 4 tbsp of cashews shopping list
- 4cloves shopping list
- 1inch cinnamon stick shopping list
- 2 cardamom shopping list
- 8 peppercorns shopping list
- set 3: shopping list
- 1 cup of fresh cream shopping list
- 8 tbsp of kasuri methi shopping list
- 2 tsp red chilly powder shopping list
- 1 tsp of garam masala shopping list
- a pinch of amchoor shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 1 cup of boiled peas shopping list
- 4 onions ground into a paste shopping list
- 1 cup of milk shopping list
- 6tbsp oil shopping list
How to make it
- step 1:
- Trim the stem of mushrooms.. cut into two(if big) soak in hot salted water for ten minutes.
- Heat butter. Fry the mushrooms till golden brown
- Add ginger garlic paste, salt n pepper. Fry for one more minute and keep aside.
- step 2:
- Grind set 2 ingredients into a powder.
- step 3:
- Heat oil. Add onion paste and fry till oil seperates. Do not make it brown.
- Add the step 2 powder.Fry for two minutes.
- Add kasuri methi and cream. Fry till it dries.
- Add red chilly powder,garam masala, salt and amchoor
- Add fried mushrooms and boiled peas. Cook for few minutes
- If u want a thick gravy add a cup of milk. If its too thick u can add some water.
- Let it boil for five minutes. Serve hot.
- Note: Do not close the cooking vessel since its a milk based gravy it might curdle.
