One Bowl White Chocolate Raspberry Chewy Bars-testing Recipe

I made up this recipe and have only tested it a few times. I have made some changes from when I originally posted it after testing it. If you make it comment on how it turned out for you. :)

Ingredients
  • 3-4 (1 ounce) squares white chocolate or a heaping third-1/2 of a cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 2/3 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen red raspberries, about 6oz (if they are large it might be best to brake them into 3rds)
  • optional-melted white chocolate to drizzle on top

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
  2. Microwave chocolate and butter in large bowl at HIGH for 1-2 minutes or until butter is melted.
  3. Stir until chocolate is melted.
  4. Add each ingredient, one at a time, in the order listed, stirring (by hand) after each ingredient is added. Carefully fold in raspberries last.
  5. Spread in greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes (do not over bake).
  6. After cooling at least 30 minutes. Melt optional chocolate and drizzle in criss cross pattern.
