The best Ice Cream flavor ever, and such a lovely shade of green. The avocado is balanced by a lemony zing, and is still sweet and creamy. Use Organic dairy for higher quality flavor. Decadent.

Ingredients
  • 3 Large Hass avocados
  • 1/2 Lime freshly squeezed + 1 tsp. zest
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 C. Whole Milk~Organic
  • 1 C heavy cream Organic (from my local dairy!)
  • 1/4 C. sugar
  • option: 2 1/2 C Coconut milk instead of whole milk and cream

Directions
  1. Put the avocado meat, lime juice, lemon zest, vanilla, milk and sugar into a food processor or blender and puree until smooth.
  2. Add heavy cream, and blend just until combined.
  3. Cover and put mixture into fridge and chill four to six hours. (I skip this step- because I can't wait!)
  4. Pour mixture into ice cream maker, following instructions for your machine, run approx. 20 minutes. Serve soft, or put in freezer to harden.
