Simple Split Pea Soup

- 1 lb. of dried split peas shopping list
- 2 large peeled and diced carrots shopping list
- 1 stalk of diced celery shopping list
- 2 (14.5 oz.) cans of low-fat, low sodium chicken broth shopping list
- 3 c. of water shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- First you want to rinse through the peas.
- Then you can add them to a large pot over medium flame.
- Add in the celery, carrots, broth and water.
- Let this cook over low lame for around 1-2 hours.
- Finally, season to your indivial liking!
- Ladle into bowls!
